Coverage you can trust
All 50 states, in plain language: 10,985 waters carry their own special rules, and any unlisted water resolves to the statewide or zone rules that govern it. How we keep it accurate is below.
Tap a state to browse its waters.
How the data is checked
Every rule is captured from the state's current official regulations and re-checked automatically against the source. When a check disagrees with what we captured, that water is flagged on its own page rather than silently trusted. Each water's page shows its source link and the date it was last checked, so you can always see how fresh the answer is and confirm it yourself.
What Kotu Fish is missing, on purpose
- · No feed. No catch leaderboard.
- · No spot sharing that burns your water.
- · The regulations themselves are always free. We consolidate every state's public rules into one place and put them in plain language; Premium is the convenience layer on top.
Works with no signal
Save any area for offline use and the map and its rules ride along on your phone. Dead zones are where you fish, so that is where Kotu Fish works. Emergency orders sync quietly whenever you have a signal and never lock you out while they do.
Every water carries its receipt
Every covered water, in every state, shows its rule source and the date we last checked it, right on its own page. Pick a state above to browse its waters, or search any water by name on the waters page.
